Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has pledged to deal with some of the public concerns raised by Tororo residents, about the Guaugzhou Dongsong Energy (U) LTD a phosphate facility. The premier pledged as she led several MPs and local leaders to establish the status of the phosphate exploration and the challenges affecting the facility. The multi-million-dollar project has stalled since 2021 after losing funding from the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).
