When this property with a private cave popped up for sale, I knew I had to check it out! The house is built onto the side of a sandstone bluff, and has a tunnel in the backyard leading into the cave. (Technically it's an artificial cellar like the ones found under historic breweries, but local terminology refers to these as "caves").

I'm not sure what this cave was originally used for. The design reminds me of a fallout shelter, and the house is from the 1970s. However, the cellar / cave could be older than that.
