I tried EFT for anxiety and panic attacks and it was life-changing, I was able to drop into the physical sensations of the emotion, and learn what it was trying to tell me. At times, counseling made me feel worse because I was thinking about my emotions, and that was stopping me from actually feeling and processing them - this is why thinking too much is bad imo.
This is just my experience with EFT, yours might be different.
There is no 'one size fits all' method to cure anxiety, but in this series I will aim to cover lots of different methods that you can try.
What I am really excited about is seeing anxiety as a sign that something inside you needs attention and healing, it's taken me half my life to fall into that revelation.
My journey to healing my anxiety disorders began with cerebral, cognitive therapies such as CBT and counselling first, then exploring how I could manipulate my biochemical make-up (through running, nootropics - video on L-Theanine & CBD to come) and finally, where I am now, researching and experiencing how the mind AND body can work together in order to heal past trauma - Somatic healing, EFT and more.
This coming together of the body and mind is an exciting approach to transforming and learning from your anxiety. These methods are rooted in science and are really at the cutting edge of healing trauma (imo of course)
I started this Youtube channel mainly because I wanted to make videos about this magical area of [bodymindawareness] that is changing my life.
