Hey Everyone,
First off, thank you for the support! I really do appreciate it!
Here is another beginner woodworking project and a beginner woodworking CNC project all at the same time.
If you don't have a CNC, don't worry at all!! You can still make this super easy bottle opener. I used my CNC to add text, but you don't need it! You can use the Dremel! You can Use Vinyl! You can Use Paint! Use your preferred method!
In this video, I use my CNC to create the hole for the magnet but you can easily use a forstner bit. I just don't have any and didn't want to spend money on them if I could simply use what I have. As woodworking side hustlers, we sometimes just gotta use what we have to maximize our return.
Dimensions (You can really make these whatever size you want, but here are the dimensions I used):
5" (Wide) x 10.5" (Tall)
For my CNC users.
TEXT: I used a V-carve tool path (60 deg v-bit) for my text using Carbide Create.
Depth of Carve: Stock Bottom
MAGNET HOLE:
Radius of Hole for Magnet: 0.6250"
Max Depth for Hole: 0.475"
I used a 1/4" end mill and a pocket tool path. The specific magnets used are linked below.
