Learn how to make Moong dal idli. Healthy and very tasty moong dal Idli, made with a mix of dals like Moong dal, Urad dal and moong sprouts. This protein rich and healthy recipe is very simple and easy to make.
With easy to find ingredients like carrot and green peas, which gives an extra
bite to this delicious recipe. Also flavoured with ginger, cumin seeds and hing
powder. Turmeric powder added to give an extra color and flavour.
Clean and soak the dals for over 4 hours and then grind it to a paste and leave
it for fermenting process. Once the batter is ready, one by one add all the other
ingredients. Pour it to the Idli rack and cook for 15-20 mins
and thats it !!! delicious Moong dal idli is ready to serve. Try it out.

Moong dal 1 cup
Urad dal 1/4 cup
Meethi seeds 1 teaspoon
Moong sprouts 1/2 cup
Green peas 1/4 cup
Carrot chopped 1/2 cup
Coriander leaves as per taste
Green chillies 5-6 nos
Ginger 1 piece
Cumin seeds (Jeera) 1 1/2 teaspoon
Salt as per taste
Turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon
Hing powder 1/4 teaspoon
