Movie is inspired by Dante Alighieri´s Divine Comedy although Afterlife doesnt have much in common with this literary work. Instead of focusing only on the journey through the heaven and hell, the movie also point out the problem of suicide. Through the story we observe the main character struggling with preblems that are result of his tragic earth life. This is not a movie with happy end, this is the movie that desribes the cruelty of earthlife and evan more the cruelty of afterlife.
