Vinegar has been used for thousands of years for culinary and medicinal purposes from food preservation to wound healing. It also makes a cheap and biodegradable disinfectant. Even Professor Peter Collignon, an infectious diseases physician at the Australian National University's medical school, said: "Tuberculosis is a hard-to-kill bacteria, so the fact that it works against them means most other bacteria will likely be killed by vinegar as well." While not as effective as commercial cleaners it's still a useful disinfectant to have around the house.
What you'll need is Regular White Vinegar 5% Acetic Acid or you can use a cleaning Vinegar which has 6% Acetic Acid.
1 Lemon - Peeled for the rind or Lemon Essential Oil. You can also use Thyme or other herbs in this infusion as well. Let it infuse in a closed jar preferably in a dark place for a few weeks. The more time you let it sit the stronger the fragrance will be in your end product.
Glass Container with Lid
Once vinegar has infused you'll mix this with water at a 1:1 Ratio
for example 200 ml Vinegar + 200 ml Water
