Two things; gratitude and agency. When you practice gratitude and exercise agency, and you also believe that you have a strong control over your life and direction, you become a happy person. Maybe not all the time, but there are many moments where I catch myself smiling because of the little things. I know that my life is amazing. I love myself. I want to keep getting better, and I know my life will keep getting better because I have agency, I have control, and I have so much to be grateful for.
