(5 Nov 2015) 'STAR WARS' THEMED CHRISTMAS DISPLAY LIGHTS UP THE STREETS OF PARIS
The force is with a Paris department store this holiday season.
Galeries Lafayette department store and Disney have teamed up for a "Star Wars"-themed Christmas display.
The tribute was unveiled Wednesday (4 NOV. 2015) with choreography, stunts, a light show and people dressed as jedis, stormtroopers and other characters from the franchise.
Crowds gathered outside the store to watch the performance which ended with fake snow falling over them.
One tourist who caught the unveiling described it as "amazing."
"I think, yeah, with all those lights it's something everybody kinda dreams of growing up and finally gets to see all the famous window displays in real life, it's amazing," described Victoria Rasbridge, a tourist from Oxford, in the United Kingdom.
"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released in France on Dec. 16.
