Part 2 of 2
Benjamin Portin, Head of Consumer Product at Radonova, got the chance to sit down with Dr. Aaron Goodarzi, Canada Research Chair for Radiation Exposure Disease, and the Lead of Science Communication for the University of Calgary’s Charbonneau Cancer Institute for a casual conversation surrounding the area of radiation.
We took this opportunity to discuss the future of telecommuting, and how that will have a negative effect for people unaware of their indoor air quality. Dr. Goodarzi also explains how the measurement techniques surrounding radon has evolved significantly over the years.
Lastly, Dr. Goodarzi gives us a breakdown of his ongoing research and how groundbreaking the potential outcome could be for the radiation industry, most specifically focusing on the dangers of long-term radon gas exposure and how it increases the risk of getting diagnosed with lung cancer.
To accompany Mr. Portin and Dr. Goodarzi, we invited Radonovas very own, Dr. José - Luis Gutiérrez Villanueva, to share his decades of expertise surrounding the radiation industry.
