Jin of BTS has completed his military service. The idol was in upbeat spirits as he was photographed exiting a military base on June 12. The 31-year-old singer was seen leaving the mandatory national service wearing his military uniform and waving to fans as he reunited with fellow BTS members J-Hope, V, Jimin, Jungkook and RM. In video captured outside the military base, Jin was greeted with a bouquet of flowers as he gave a hug to the BTS stars, who were eagerly waiting to see him. And RM even got the energy going playing BTS’ hit song “Dynamite” on the saxophone. After the public reunion, the K-Pop group continued celebrating Jin’s major accomplishment. They shared a photo on X, of them gathered behind a cake, surrounded by balloons with a sign that reads “Jin is back.” When translated to English the post reportedly read, “I’m Home!” South Korean media reported that several members of the group applied for leave in order to celebrate the occasion. Jin is the oldest member of BTS and started his mandatory military service in Dec. 2022. Other members of the group started serving in 2023.
