The committee reviewed licensing and enforcement data, including recent licensing trends, 311 call data and trends, short-term rental application and enforcement data, as well as an update on lodger’s tax accounts and year-to-date collection. The committee also discussed current events.
The Department of Excise and Licenses updated the committee to let them know the platform accountability ordinance had passed. The Department also announced a vacancy on the committee. Finally, the Department reviewed the group’s 2020 accomplishments and highlighted Denver’s values to kick off the committee’s discussion of 2021 Goal Setting. Members of the committee discussed their ideas for 2021.
