The technique used at Collins Orthodontics and in this video is called "Indirect Bonding," in which all of the braces are set up in advance on a stone model that is a replica of the patient's mouth. Then custom trays are made, which allows us to place all of the braces at once, which is very different than the traditional method in which each brace is placed one-by-one on the teeth. Indirect Bonding technique saves a significant amount of chair time for our patients at Collins Orthodontics, and allows our doctors to be more accurate in setting up braces cases in advance.
