The snare type buzzing sounds you can hear is not due to the bass being too high. It is the sound of the uncut wiry ends of ancient strings vibrating against an equally ancient guitar body. The nylon instrument this was recorded on has a beautiful tone but is a nightmare to tune and maintain.
