DIY Ginger Liqueur is easy and Delicious! I followed this recipe:

Its just ginger, about 2 oz, sugar, water, vanilla, Simmered on the stove, and then steeped in cognac and some orange zest for a couple days. Came out tasting really good. I like to make a scotch, ginger rusty nail type thing.

The Crusty Ginger
2 oz Blended Scotch (Monkey Shoulder)
.5 oz Ginger Liqueur (DIY)
2 dashes Angostura

Another option is to mix it with soda water, it makes an awesome ginger soda, which you can pretend is ginger beer and make a Dark & Stormy, or a Buck or whatever!
