With the climate crisis and less reliable supply chains we need to focus more on food security and local production. New and emerging technology makes it possible to grow fresh produce year-round in countries where the climate doesn't normally allow it.
Large scale vertical farming can be a part of the answer, as it allows for local, stable and reliable production, disregarding seasons and the changing climate. ONNA is Norway's first large scale vertical farm, and has a mission to lead the way in changing how the food system works.
