Between the rain showers, a perfect window opened up to get some dry hay baled. Even better is that the hay was nice and tender and worthy of square baling. Justin started raking the hay while Alan got the New Idea 551 Square Baler and hay baskets ready to go. There was more hay up there than Alan figured and it didn't take long to fill up both of the hay baskets. Then Paul and Justin got to stack hay on a couple of flat racks. That evening, everyone came over to help get the hay up in the barn. 403 bales in total.
