This printer is the usual printer that I use. When it sits disused for a while, the current toner cartridge gets a bit temperamental. A new cartridge would resolve it, but I'd quite like to use up what's left in this one first. Once you run a cleaning cycle though, it works great for any number of prints, as long as it doesn't sit unused. The E312L is an old printer, and actually a budget model. It appears to have reasonably official support for Windows 3.1 through XP, but will work on just about anything that can talk PostScript or PCL of a sufficiently recent version. I've even had success using it as a generic line printer in MS-DOS.
I'm aware that I called my computer a "printer". I did make a caption noting this error but it apparently disappeared somewhere in the editing and rendering process. Oops.
Happy fourth!
