Meister Cheese Company faced complex wastewater challenges due to antimicrobial compounds disrupting their anaerobic digestion system. This negatively impacted their cheese and biogas production capacity and biogas quality.
As pretreatment, Moleaer's nanobubble technology helped remove the troublesome antimicrobial compounds before the anaerobic digester, making their wastewater easier to treat.
Results? Over the next three years, Meister plans to increase production by over 20 million pounds of cheese and whey products.
