It's always nice to cover a story through it's conclusion. I covered the shooting on woodcarver John T. Williams, the police inquest, and when they started carving the 40 foot pole last year. I was excited then to cover the final chapter of the story, as the finished totem was carried and installed at Seattle Center. Along the way I talked to Rick, John's brother, about what this moment meant to him and about feeling his brother's presence along the way.
