Halton Healthcare is among the top five in Ontario for number of patients on home dialysis treatments, according to The Ontario Renal Network’s March 2021 Quarterly Report. This success can be attributed to a progressive Nephrology Program that empowers patients to dialyze independently safely in the comfort of their home. It also reflects a recent innovative collaboration between the Nephrology and the Surgery Programs to offer a new surgical procedure, required home peritoneal dialysis that was not previously available at OTMH.
