Here is an educational video demonstrating the removal of hysteroscopic and laparoscopic removal of fibroids in #infertility patients with #multiplefibroids.
Pre-op. mapping by #TVUSG is necessary to plan which fibroid will be removed by #hysteroscopy & #laparoscopy.
#Hysteroscopy shows when right-sided lateral wall adhesiolysis done, fibroid pops out and it was removed by scissor through #Bettochi's hysteroscopic operative sheath.
#Laparoscopy shows how #fibroids were located on the basis of pre-operative mapping by USG. Vasopressin injected over fibroids serosal part. Incision kept, fibroid fixed with myoma screw, and with the pull of screw and push of dissector, the fibroid was dissected out from the uterus. Another fibroid noticed after removal of the first fibroid removal, another fibroid caught with a tenaculum and subsequent/tunneling fibroid also removed.
Uterine defect closed with No.1 Vicryl figure of "8" stitches. Fibroids retrieved outside abdomen with Rotocut #Morcellator. left-sided morcellator.10 mm port closed with a special #portclosureneedle to avoid a future hernia.
The patient was discharged the next day. #Daycaresurgery.
