Can you use tape to mask off areas for glaze application? That's what I try in this video. I explore applying tape to pots with a base layer of glaze as well as a raw bisque fired pot. After the tape is in place, the pot has a final layer of glaze applied. Once that is dry, the tape is removed and along with it that final layer of glaze where the tape was. I also explore a few different tape patterns as well as the effect of the order of glaze application. And best of all I end up with some great surprises!
