You might not have to be a “Jazzer” to play this, but be able to produce a big “jazz-like” sound from the soloist big band era from the late 30’s into the early 60’s. On this recording I have Richard Marshall (playing trumpet) recording this on his album BLAZE with Grimethorpe with Richard Evans conducting. The sound has to be big, sweet, robust with the correct vibrato speed and size for the period. Here I think Richard has the full complement!
