Quantum Programming allows us to write software for quantum computers, the next generation of computation.
But what makes it so different?"
In classical computers, we use bits which can be either 0 or 1.
However, in quantum computers, we use qubits, which can be in a state of 0, 1, or any superposition of these states.
This unique property allows quantum computers to handle exponentially more information than classical ones."
Quantum programming languages use quantum gates, which are operations that change the state of a qubit.
Some basic gates include the Pauli-X, Pauli-Y, Pauli-Z, and the Hadamard gate, each having unique effects on the qubit's state."
Popular quantum programming languages include Q#, developed by Microsoft, and Qiskit, developed by IBM.
They provide the syntax and functions necessary to manipulate qubits and build quantum algorithms."
