Frank Vallelonga opened Tony Lip’s Italian Restaurant in tribute to his father, a “Sopranos” actor who is depicted in the movie “Green Book,” starring Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali. Before becoming an actor, Lip, aka Tony Vallelonga, worked as a bouncer at the Copacabana in New York in the 1960s, where he rubbed elbows with many celebrities. Photos from his days at the club and his acting career line the walls of the restaurant.
