Open Call for Artists!
The Center for Genomics and Systems Biology (CGSB) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for the Artist-in-Residence Program. This program will bring artists to work with scientists at the NYUAD CGSB. This initiative will bring scientists and forward-looking artists together to collaborate, communicate, interact, and learn, fostering the creative thinking that drives innovation.
The NYUAD CGSB encourages and promotes scientific and cultural interactions by regularly hosting events such as lectures, workshops, and Science Cafés, thus facilitating the exchange of ideas and knowledge between scholars involved with the program and the community. The CGSB Artist-in-Residence Program is an extension of this effort.
The selected artists will actively engage with scientists working on one of the CGSB-related programs. The program will provide a competitive salary, housing allowance, and other benefits.

An artist statement, including a brief description of previous projects (500 words).
