Does B1 actually work? What about B6 and Zinc?? How about lifestyle changes? Today I'm sharing a highly requested health update! For all of my adult life (14+ years) I've lived with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and later discovered I have the symptoms of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia (POTS) too which may or may not be the root cause of my CFS. In this video, I'll be breaking down all the vitamins I've tried so far as well as a promising new Vitamin B1 I've come to learn about along with some lifestyle changes I'm implementing to try and cure my chronic fatigue and pots. Since becoming a new mom, it has been difficult to tell the difference between normal motherhood sleep deprivation and chronic fatigue syndrome. Plus, all of my supplement testings had to take a back burner. So, that is why I haven't made an update in a while. However, there are some lifestyle changes (minimalism and simplifying my life in general) that I'm doing as well as vitamins that have helped (and a new B1called Allithiamine I'm going to try!) that I believe will have a strong positive impact on the life of anyone who suffers from chronic illness. Stay strong! We can overcome this! We can live better and healthier lives! Never stop fighting for yourself!

Some believe CFS and POTS could be caused by a B1 (or Thiamine) Deficiency. Also similar to a condition called Beriberi. I first got CFS symptoms after falling very ill as a teenager. After that time period, I was never the same again. I longed to have the energy I once did but after many, many years, I nearly forgot what it was like to even have energy. Things like getting out of my chair to join in family games and activities exhausted me. Even just standing for any period of time completely wore me out, and still does. After living with it for years I tried to hide it as much as I could because I felt I just came across as lazy or uninterested. I wished people could understand what it really felt like to live your life feeling like a zombie with blurry vision 24/7. I wished I didn't have to use every remaining ounce of strength I had, to try and act "normal" in front of people, when all I wanted to do was collapse on the bed. Or even just sit on the floor! If you have either of these conditions (chronic fatigue syndrome or POTS) or any chronic illness for that matter, I know you already know exactly what I'm talking about.
