Robert Hopkins, the fan who flipped head over heals for the Buffalo Bills last September was found guilty of assault on Tuesday.
The flipping fan was filmed by CBS during the game against the New York Jets. Newly released surveillance footage from Ralph Wilson Stadium shows Roberts sliding down the rail several times before his final stunt that led to the fall.
Roberts fell 20-25 ft and sustained injuries to his neck and back while also injuring a 17-year-old boy in the stands below. Roberts subsequently lost his job in public relations and was banned from the Bills stadium.
The Orchard Park Town Court deliberated for about 20 minutes before arriving at the verdict. They found him guilty of third degree assault and second degree reckless endangerment.
