Taking into account the need of pedagogical institutions for quality teacher training and the public interest in raising the quality of EFL teacher training the British Council Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine initiated the Pre-Service Teacher Training project which was launched in April 2013.

The overall aim of the project is to introduce change in the initial teacher training system of Ukraine: to design and implement a new PRESETT Curriculum on Methodology for the initial teacher training system in Ukraine.
