One of Britain's most uncompromising dance acts dominated the MTV Europe Music Awards on Thursday night.
Prodigy picked up three awards at the event in Rotterdam.
Other British groups Oasis and the Spice Girls took one award apiece at the ceremony which was broadcast live to millions of viewers on the satellite music channel.
One of the biggest events in the music business calendar, the MTV Europe Music Awards attracted top music stars from around the world.
The ceremony blasted off with all the usual razzamatazz associated with such events.
Ronan Keating from the band Boyzone was the evening's host.
The appreciative audience were entertained by performances not only from some of the award winners themselves, but other leading American and European groups.
But the evening really belonged to British dance act Prodigy.
They scooped three awards - the fans' choice for best dance act and best alternative act, and their video Breathe also came top of its category.
American teen group Hanson seemed overwhelmed by their success.
The teenagers were the second most successful group of the night, winning the awards for best breakthrough act and best song for MMM Bop.

Such an event would have been incomplete without the Spice Girls.
The super group performed their latest hit Spice Up Your Life to an enthusiastic audience.
And the girls beat off such giants as Oasis and U2 to carry off the best group award after failing to win any category at last year's event.

American singer Janet Jackson took the award for Best Female Artist, but was unable to attend the event.
