Free sparkling water fountains are so beautifully French.

The city’s iconic Wallace fountains were installed by Richard Wallace after inheriting his father’s fortune in an act of public good. Some are set to also be outfitted with a misting function to help Parisians cool down further this summer.

They’ve certainly been a welcomed relief from past week’s record-setting temperatures. Paris saw highs of up to 105 degrees Fahrenheit, 40 degrees Celsius. 🥵
