As the Covid-19 pandemic continues, experiences and best practices accumulated by countries as well as relevant stakeholders in repatriating the seafarers would be crucial. The purpose of the discussion is to share and exchange these best practices to the invited audience. Topics covered include the global economic picture during the pandemic, role of relevant stakeholders (e.g. IMO and port states), as well as measures taken by the Indonesian Government in cases of seafarers’ repatriation.
The panellists will be highlighting their perspectives on seafarers repatriation matter based on their field of expertise in maritime issues.
