The XR Immersive Analytics Application Development in Unity tutorial series teaches those new to AR/VR app development everything they need to make their own immersive analytics apps! In this third video in the series, we will be delving into Unity and start our multi-video process of building a simple XR application using the various MRTK pre-built assets and scripts we just learned about in the last video.
Specifically in this video, we will be focusing on three main things:
First, the initial setup of MRTK and its settings in a scene.
Secondly, how to add and use the Bounds Control and Object Manipulator components on a GameObject to allow for intuitive manipulation of it in XR.
Thirdly, how to implement different types of pre-built MRTK buttons to quickly and easily tie in basic UI-based interactions with GameObjects in our scene.
