Two cheats to the beach start with the pumpfoil
After starting pump foiling in February 24 and more often than not managing the dock start and pumping for more than a minute, I wanted to try the beach start and share it with whoever wants to see…
My 2 cheats for the beach start
- Find the perfect spot
- Use a huge front wing so you have a lot of time to stand up.
Is it really a beach start though? What do you think?
Lake Silvaplana, Switzerland. Water temperature: 11 degrees

Gong Kluber 80
Frontwing Sirus XXL
Mast Aluminium 85cm
(I would prefer a more stiff carbon one and maybe a shorter one)
Stab: STAB PRO FLUID H - 45 cm (which is not considered the best, use the Sirus Stab if you can)
