뉴욕, 5년만에 최대 폭설 우려…미 북동부 학교•백신 '올스톱'
A heavy snowstorm has hit Northeastern parts of the U.S.
Emergency warnings have been issued across the region, as the national weather service forecasts widespread snow of thirty to sixty centimeters in Pennsylvania and across New England.
With up to seventy centimeters of snow expected to fall by Tuesday, New York City could see one of the biggest snowstorms in the city’s history.
Flights have been suspended at major airports while bus and subway services have been stopped.
COVID-19 vaccination appointments were also cancelled and rescheduled in some regions, raising concerns over delays in battling the pandemic.
