Looks like this 22" Paiste 602 Blue Label thin flat ride cymbal (the one on the boom stand) is going to a very good friend so I've decided to have one last play on it. It was bought in New Zealand in the 1980s by a now-retired drummer and I'm the second owner. It is in beautiful condition, just my stick marks.

I've added a 6.5" Acrolite (unknown age) to my 1976 Butcher's Block Power Factory kit (there are 6 concert toms and a 12" conventional tom on standby). I like this Acro very much with this kit, as it kinda suits the way I play better than other snares I've tried with it (6.5" Supraphonic, 5" Acrolite, 1980s 5" Bronze Super Sensitive).
The other cymbals here are 15" hats and 18" crash from my Istanbul Memhet Tony Williams Tribute set, Istanbul Agop Traditional 8" splash, Meinl Byzance 22" Big Apple Jazz Ride, Meinl Byzance 22" China Jazz Ride (with the sizzle rivets).
Note: there is no compression available on the freeware video software I'm using (since my regular home computer shat itself a fortnight ago), so there are sometimes unpleasant little peaks when I'm accenting the 602 flat ride with the stick tip. This is not the cymbal's fault, it's mine. The cymbal sounds fantastic and my very basic recording approach doesn't do it justice.
Recording is room sound from a Roland R-26 with both its built-in mic pairs and a smaller cheap condenser closer to the ride and running straight in to my Nikon D600 DSLR. No compression or other effects added, so this is very basic and takes me a few minutes only to set up.
One day I'll get more sophisticated about recording, but I keep spending my available cash on drums and cymbals so I don't know when I'm ever going to upgrade the recording facilities. Bought a Premier Signia 5-piece kit today, so that will feature in some future DrumFuckeries once I get it home (it's in another city) and get it cleaned up, new heads etc.
