Fender electric XII unboxing
When I bought my first guitar, this was the one at the shop that I wanted - not the one I could afford or the one I bought - but the one I wanted. You know how it is, you go to the guitar store, and there's what you can afford, and then there's what you want.
The guitar at the shop in Columbus Ohio back in 1988 was refinished in metallic flake purple. They wanted $1100 for it at the time. I went home with a 1969 Fender Villager 12 string acoustic with a single coil in the sound hole. It cost me $350.
