In this video, I’ll be giving my first impressions on the Ruveno Smart Door Lock. I’ve had it installed for about a week and I’m ready to go over my initial thoughts. Smart Locks have always been on my radar and they've never really appealed to me until I came across this particular lock.

It looks fantastic, if a little bulky. The finish is superb and the build quality is fantastic. Reviews are on the whole positive and hopefully you'll have enough information from this video to determine if this smart lock is for you.

This brand isn't available on Amazon US, but I have linked a similarly priced one. It may not be as good as this or it may be better. If you can find this exact model in the US, that would make your decision easier.

There are multiple ways you can open this lock. Fingerprint unlocking is the main attraction. You can store up to 200 fingerprints on this, which is one of the many standout features. Watch the whole video to find out how else this Smart Lock can be unlocked.

You can use this lock for outdoor use, but it'd be better suited indoors. I have it installed on my Home Office door and it's been a treat to use during that time. It would be a good use case for an apartment or even a bedroom.
