Homer is kidnapped by the two aliens Kang and Kodos while out fishing. They demand that Homer take them to Earth's leader, but Homer informs them of the forthcoming presidential election, predicting either Bill Clinton or Bob Dole as the winner.
Kang and Kodos abduct both Dole and Clinton and put them in suspended animation, assuming their forms by "bio-duplication," ensuring that one of them will be the next president. The aliens soak Homer in rum before returning him to Earth, so no one will believe him. Most voters appear to be unconcerned about both candidates' unusual behavior, much to Homer's chagrin.
