The Boiled One Phenomenon is a short analog horror piece by the creator Doctor Nowhere. It features the titular 'boiled one', a strange and horrific creature who looks as if they have been burned, who appears to people on their TV screens during a specific incident. This led to some seeing the creature and experiencing a psuedocoma. The Boiled One as an entity has what are called 'cognitohazardous/infohazardous' properties. This means that if you see the thing it is featured in, and this meets certain criteria (maybe you just have to see it, or see it and hear it. Even watch the whole video) then you are essentially affected or cursed. While these aren't usually the terms used, that is what it boils down to.
