"Drive Home" from Steven Wilson's "The Raven That Refused To Sing" album (2013).
A video that a lot of people wanted to see. I definitely know why it took a whole year to do this one. First of all, the variations are what made me hate this song for a couple of days. It's a beautiful song (except for the autotune bits) and the drop to the guitar solo is of course amazing, but I never want to play this one again. I feel like this video is a bit useless since nobody is ever going to memorize all those fills. I'm probably wrong about that one though.
Drive Home starts off pretty easy. Easy notes, gets repeated later on as well. I'd say that you get to play about 4:30 minutes of basslines. The rest is just silence. Anyway, what else is there to say? Just loads of variations. They had the opportunity to call this song something like "Driving Home and Going Insane Due To All the Variations".
Some important information that nobody is going to read.
