First and foremost, it increases the bonding between the couple and helps them mentally prepare for the family they are going to start soon.
During sex, the body releases oxytocin hormone that helps the body prepare even better for the delivery.
The hormones present in the sperms are helpful in dilating the uterus mouth and also help to induce the labor pain naturally.
Also sex during third trimester helps to strengthen the pelvic muscles that is much needed to bear the pressure and pain during the delivery process.

You must choose the right sex positions during third trimester pregnancy. Don’t go for any pose in which the male partner is positioned on the female’s stomach. This can severely affect the natural blood flow to her body.
During sex the female partner should not lay down on her back as this may cause beathing issues and also shortness of breath.
Male partner must avoid blowing in the female vagina as this may create serious risks to her.
Also please don’t forget to take advise of your doctor before having sex at this crucial stage of your pregnancy. If the pregnancy involves any complications or risk, it is advised by the doctors to not have sex until delivery.
