The Cairns Ukulele Festival is held in North Queensland, Australia.
The festival runs for over a week and comprises a range of events, such as a ukulele building course, a charity uke art exhibition, and concerts by ukulele royalty from around the globe. A world record attempt was also made, and thousands played their ukuleles on the Great Barrier Reef, in the city, and in the tropical rainforest.
This 2013 Cairns Ukulele Festival highlights video covers those events and more, and is a true musical buffet for ukulele and music lovers alike.
Featured artists include Daniel Ho, Craig Chee, Bartt Warburton, Abe Lagrimas Jr, Tomoki Sato, Ryo Natoyama, The Montgomery Brothers and many more.
This video is for promotional purposes only.
The Cairns Ukulele Festival is organised by the Cairns Ukulele Club Inc., a non-profit organisation.
