Merry Christmas Eve!! If your family is anything like mine then today you are celebrating! That means lots of delicious food 😋
I like making this Holiday Ham in the Crockpot because it’s pretty hands off and allows me to focus on other dishes. The crockpot also comes in handy if you need to save on oven space. This ham comes out juicy and delicious every time!
Ingredients
1 Cup Real Maple Syrup
3/4 cup Pineapple Juice from Sliced Pineapple can
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1 can of crushed pineapple (optional)
5 pound ham (or as big as your crockpot will allow)
Directions
1. In a medium bowl whisk maple syrup, pineapple juice, brown sugar, mustard, and ground cloves together.
2. Add the can of crushed pineapple to the bottom of the crockpot and half of the glaze.
3. Place your ham in the crockpot face side down. Pour the rest of the glaze on top of the ham. Add slices of pineapple to the top of the ham and secure with tooth picks.
4. Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
5. Remove Ham from the crockpot and let rest on a cutting board for 15 minutes before carving.
6. Pour left over glaze on top of ham before serving.
I have a 6 quart crockpot so a 5- 6 pound ham fits perfect. Make sure to look at how big your crockpot is before heading to the store 😉 or you might just need to shave some off a bit.
