One minute Italian language explanation. In this video, I will talk about the difference in Italian pronunciation between the Italian conjunction e and the third singular person of the to be verb (verbo essere) è.
E - the English conjunction AND, has a closed pronunciation, meaning that when you pronounce it your mouth smiles.
È -the third singular person of IL VERBO ESSERE, it corresponds to IS in English. The pronunciation here is open because your mouth opens when you pronounce it.
