The Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act, 2025, proposes to restrict the FTC from finalizing or enforcing the Business Opportunity Rule and the Earnings Claims Rule.

These rules are crucial for protecting consumers from deceptive income claims and fraudulent business opportunities, particularly in the MLM industry.

A recent study showed that 98% of MLMs made misleading income representations in 2023. Without these rules, the FTC's ability to protect the public is severely limited. Please help by contacting your representative to oppose this bill.
