Argentina’s Senate narrowly approved controversial economic reforms this week despite widespread protests against it.
President Javier Milei says the changes are needed to tackle soaring inflation and a shrinking economy.
Demonstrations against the legislation turned into violent confrontations with police.
And the violence has raised concerns about how the new government handles social unrest.
