Background: So, it's no surprise to anyone that I love INT builds. My first playthrough was an INT build and I've done a number of Intelligence-based builds on the channel. For this build, I wanted to center the build around weapon sorceries to act as a melee battlemage.
For this build: This build is a high Intelligence build that is centered around using Sorceries that summon weapons aka the Carian Sword and Carian Glintblade Sorceries as well as Gavel of Haima (which is considered a Glintstone Sorcery, but summoned weapon so it's here). Because of that, nearly all of the casts this build utilizes are melee-range and act as your "moveset". Worth mentioning, I intentionally tried to hold back on using Carian Slicer constantly because I've already done a build using exclusively Carian Slicer. So, to talk the Sorceries: A) Magic Glintblade- the bread and butter sorcery of this build, acts as a delayed projectile, does high damage and is great at multi-tasking. While Magic Glintblade lingers and fires, you can be dodging or close in with a melee sorcery or chain multiple Glintblades together for really fast damage. B) Adula's Moonblade- A summoned Frost Greatsword that deals Frostbite from the blade and projectile. Useful for building Frostbite for a chunk of damage and its damage debuff. C) Carian Slicer- Very fast DPS machine. So good that it could carry an entire build on its own. D) Gavel of Haima- Big Magic Hammer go bonk. Really good at staggering and has hyperarmor. E) Carian Piercer- a thrusting Magic Greatsword that has really good range. F) Carian Greatsword- a Magic Greatsword with good range and has better raw attack power than Moonblade, but I mainly used Moonblade for the Frost potential. G) Ranni's Dark Moon- To apply the Magic Damage Debuff and does criminal levels of Frostbite so that either two of these back to back or a Dark Moon and a Moonblade will immediately Frostbite an enemy. All of these Sorceries combine to make a very comprehensive and complete moveset that excels at combat at any range. The main staffs for this build are Carian Regal Scepter in the main hand as it has the 2nd highest Sorcery Scaling for a pure INT build and Azur's Glintstone Staff for its faster cast speed buff.

How to Improve this Build:
This build is generally complete as it is now, though there are ways to make it more powerful either through equipment or going beyond 150.
Route A (Equipment): So, more power could be had if you choose to use Lusat's Glintstone Staff as your main staff and the Carian Glintstone Staff in the offhand to boost the power of Carian Slicer, Adula's Moonblade, Carian Piercer, Carian Greatsword, which is 4 of the main sorceries this build uses. What must be understood is by not having the Azur's Glintstone Staff in your offhand, you will sacrifice max cast speed, which can be felt if trying to cast in a tight window, particularly on slightly slower casts like Gavel and the Carian Greatswords. You could also wear the Snow Witch Hat to further boost the power of Adula's Moonblade. Additionally, if you choose to sacrifice cast speed, you may want to wear better armor to be able to tank a hit. At NG+7, the clothes this build wears has negative damage negation.
Route B (Beyond 150, still pure INT): So, incorporating Lusat's Glintstone Staff and the Carian Glinstone Staff, you could get Dexterity to 40, which would grant maximum cast speed with Radagon Icon without needing Azur's Glinstone Staff. I would recommend getting Mind to around 40 to offset Lusat's additional cost for casting.
Route C (Beyond 150): This would require a grind, but if Route B is not enough and you want more power, a build with 80 INT and 80 FAI and the Prince of Death's Staff would have 430 Sorcery Scaling. This is, only 17 Sorcery Scaling stronger than Lusat's. You may be the judge if 73 levels into Faith is worth it.
