On the morning of June 21st, Eagle Flight Singers went out on Kempenfelt Bay to bring healing songs to the community for National Indigenous Peoples Day. The drum represents Mother Earth's heartbeat, connecting all living things and bringing people together.
Eagle Flight Singers are a pow wow drumming group from London, ON. Members are fathers, sons, and close friends of Plains Cree, Ojibway, and Haudenosaunee descent who combine soaring vocals with the beat of the drum.
June is National Indigenous Heritage Month, and National Indigenous Peoples Day is celebrated annually on June 21. Visit [ Ссылка ] for resources and programming.
